Bask & Co. Starter Pack

I loved all the products in the starter pack. The porridge with the addition of quinoa and cinnamon is perfect. Found it better to soak in milk overnight, cooks quicker and is smoother. The bars are beyond delicious. The granola I have used as a topping on Greek yoghurt. Really great combination. I usually eat gluten free Weetbix, which is rather bland, but with the addition of the granola this becomes healthier and way tastier. I will be reordering all the products. So great to have some different tastes and flavours in my diet. Healthy and yummy. Highly recommended you try. Yummy 😋

I have finally found a porridge that actually tastes good. I love that Janessa has made a granola product that doesn’t use peanut butter or peanuts.

I found Bask & Co because I'm a huge fan of LuvaBerry Farm and their 'war on waste.' Bask & Co uses LuvaBerry strawberries in Strawberry & Cranberry Granola Bars. Then I saw that everything at Bask & Co is GLUTEN FREE !! Well, I was in! I have coeliac disease - meaning I have no choice but to eat gluten free. I decided to get the Starter Pack because I wanted to try everything. I was especially excited for the aforementioned granola bar, but also the porridge.

The first thing I tried was the Strawberry & Cranberry Granola Bar. It did not disappoint. It was delicious, and the texture was good too. I then tried the Almond & Coconut Granola Bars. It was expected. Nothing exciting, as almond and coconut are a bit of a staple in the GF world (like the GF orange & almond cake in every cafe in AU - yawn). I haven't tried the Dark Choc yet.

I haven't tried the porridge yet. I have other cereal to finish first. So I will update this later.

The Granolas. I have tried them all the ways suggested: straight out of the bag as a nourishing snack, as a smoothie topper for breakfast or served with poached fruit as a healthy dessert. I also tried them in the bowl with milk, and served with fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. Bask & CO describe them as "are kinda crunchy, kinda chewy." For me, personally, they were too chewy. It was a workout to eat them. I didn't end up finishing the packets. I gave them to my sister and her kids. They loved them and happily finished them off.

A word on the texture and flavor of the Caramel Coffee Granola. The ingredients advise: ground coffee. The claim is "This mix is a dance of flavors - think coffee shop aromas snuggling up with nutty, goodness. " So I was expecting something more along the lines of a caramel latte. Instead it felt like and tasted like gritty coffee - a bit like munching dirt. I was sad, because I love caramel and I love coffee, hence my love for caramel lattes. It was not the promised "morning hug for your brain, with that cozy caffeine boost." Nor was it a "wake-up call to deliciousness."

Even though the granolas didn't do it for me, that is ok. As I said, my sister's family were loved them. I will reorder the granola bars. And if the porridge is as good as I suspect it will be, I'll be reordering it too.

Love all the Bask products! Yummy porridge, delicious granola and the bars are perfect for a snack. I am coeliac so have to be gluten free and it’s great to have a delicious selection to choose from.
The only one I was not ‘sold’ on was the granola with coffee - BUT - I don’t drink coffee at all so l am not a fan of that taste. My daughter who does drink coffee loved it. ❤️ definitely ordering the other Bask products again
